The Palm Beach Story

People who are married are having a hard time. Tom is an inventor or architect, and there isn't a lot of money for him and his family to get by on. It looks like they're going to be kicked out of their apartment, but Gerry meets a rich businessman who is looking for a new place to live. She gets $700 from him, but Tom doesn't believe her story, and they fight about it and break up. Gertie wants to get a quick divorce in Palm Beach but Tom has plans to stop her.
