The Pilot. A Battle for Survival

December of 1941, Northwestern Front. A German tank column is moving towards Moscow. Throughout an objective to quit the enemy development, Nikolai Komlev's IL-2 is rejected. Komlev manages to crash-land his airplane in a remote forest clearing. He lives, however much from friendly area. Ahead of him is a relentless trial of serious physical as well as mental endurance. After battling hunger and severe cool, averting packs of wolves and detachments of Nazi soldiers, the injured Komlev lastly makes it back to safety. But there he deals with one more challenge, one of the most life-altering of them all.
