Paradise Beach

Village Roadshow Pictures produces the Australian series Paradise Beach. It was produced by New World Television for the Nine Network from 1993 to 1994. The series centers on folks who live and work on Queensland's Gold Coast and was shot primarily on location, providing images of crashing waves, golden beaches, and scantily clad young women. Paradise Beach was meant to be not only a competitor to Australian soaps Neighbours and Home and Away, but also the first Australian soap to achieve breakthrough success in the United States.
